Abstract

This research examines strategies for enhancing learning motivation within the realm of Islamic educational psychology. Learning motivation is defined as essential internal and external drives for the educational process. The discussion covers two main types of motivation: intrinsic and extrinsic, as well as various influencing factors such as interest, goals, self-efficacy, environment, and teaching methods. Specifically, this study highlights strategies relevant to Islamic Religious Education (PAI), including instilling intention for Allah's sake, linking material to real life, providing praise, employing varied methods, creating an Islamic learning environment, teacher role modeling, and self-reflection. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of holistic Islamic education.
